How We Got Started

Legacy Bible Church was planted a few months ago with a simple conviction: that the New Testament pattern for the church is surprisingly accessible. A group of people. The Word of God. Bread and cup. Prayer. A meal. That’s what we’re trying to do.

We meet in a living room in Redlands, California. Right now there are about fifteen of us. We think that’s a good number to actually know each other — and that’s the point.

We’re not trying to become a big church fast. We’re trying to be a faithful church now. And as God brings people, we’ll grow together.

What We Believe

We hold to the historic Christian faith — nothing novel, nothing trendy.

Scripture

The Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God. It’s our final authority in all matters of faith and life. We teach from the New American Standard Bible (NASB 1995).

God

One God in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — eternally existing and worthy of all worship.

Jesus Christ

Fully God and fully man. Born of a virgin. Died for sinners. Raised bodily. Coming again.

The Holy Spirit

The Spirit of God indwells every believer, convicting, guiding, and empowering us to live for God.

Salvation

We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Not by works. Not by merit.

The Church

The church is the gathered people of God — called to worship, grow, and make disciples together.

Pastor Todd Barnett

Pastor Todd Barnett

Todd Barnett planted Legacy Bible Church out of a love for God’s Word and a conviction that the local church is God’s primary means of making disciples. He preaches expositionally through books of the Bible, believes deeply in community, and will probably be the last one to leave lunch.

If you have questions about the church or want to connect before visiting, Todd would love to hear from you.
